Bell Tower Society

Bell Tower Society imageThe cwas established by the UAFS Foundation Board of Directors in the spring of 2006 to recognize faculty and staff who provide philanthropic support to the University. Any staff or faculty member who makes a gift to UAFS, regardless of size, will automatically become a member of the society.

Faculty and staff may direct their gifts to any cause, program, or fund at the University that is important or meaningful to them—scholarships, faculty development, a college or departmental equipment fund, or a memorial fund. Bell Tower Society gifts may be designated to more than 250 outright funds and 250 endowed funds.

Support from faculty and staff is particularly important for the message it conveys. Potential supporters of the university want to know how strongly the institution is valued by people who work here. A good indication of that value is the percentage of faculty and staff who give back to the University. Our faculty/staff giving rate is usually around 10 percent.  This rate only considers the number of donors, not the size of their gifts.

As a member of the UAFS team, you have a unique perspective as to the needs of our campus.
This is your opportunity to act!

Payroll deduction is the easiest way to show your support of the programs that mean the most to you. This can be started or changed at any time; and gifts are handled in strict confidence. Payroll deduction forms are available in ServiceNow’s Knowledge Base under the Human Resources tab.  All Bell Tower Society gifts are tax-deductible within the year they are made. You may also give online at: www.uafsalumni.com/makeagift

If you know where you want your gift to go, but aren't sure of the fund's name, please contact Christy Williams at christy.williams@uafs.edu or 479-788-7180. We welcome all questions or comments you may have about the Bell Tower Society.
