G.C. Hardin Society
The G.C. Hardin Society honors those who demonstrate their commitment to changing lives through education by naming the UAFS Foundation as a beneficiary of their philanthropy through a bequest or other deferred gift. This could be providing for the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith in your will or trust, designating us as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan, savings bond, bank account, or life insurance policy, or creating a planned gift that returns income to you or others. Such gifts create transformational opportunities for UAFS students, faculty, and the campus.
The society is named after Grover C. Hardin, an attorney and local civic leader, credited with the idea that created Fort Smith Junior College in 1928.
If you have invested in the future of UAFS or wish to do so through your estate plans, please allow us to recognize you a G.C. Hardin Society member, even if as an anonymous member. A planned gift of any size qualifies you for membership because every gift has a lasting impact.
